Always referred to as just the Miata by ardent sports car fans, the 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata is part of a series of cars produced by Mazda since early 1990. Ultimately redesigned in 2006, the car is one of the most sought after two seat cars on the road.
This year the 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata sees a prominent upgrade as far as its hood is concerned. A new power-retractable hardtop makes its debut this year for all models, and the Grand Touring and Touring models get an automatic down feature for front passenger windows.
Front side impact airbags are standard features, and the car is now available in two stunning new colors – Highland Green and Stormy Blue. The car’s 2.0 liter V-4 engine produces an impressive 166 hp at 6700 rpm, and is available in three different types of transmissions – six speed auto, five speed manual and six speed manual. The Miata is truly geared for sport driving.
